For the key to be recovered, both the words and the order in which they were entered must be correct. When Should You Use SafeWords?

The SafeWords Kit can be used when you create a new wallet, or to create a secure backup of an existing wallet that you control.

NEW WALLET

During the online or hardware wallet initialization process you will be given access to your recovery seed words. At this time, you can use the SafeWords cards to record and secure your information.

EXISTING WALLET

For an existing wallet, take the original recovery seed words that you created when your digital wallet was initialized, and carefully copy it across into your SafeWords cards. You should consider destroying any complete copies of your seed words once your SafeWords cards have been completed, triple checked & stored safely.
